Nirmitee Arts

Rekha Joshi is foundar and owner of "Nirmitee Arts", a California based company. Rekha is the active member of many art clubs and has worked as an Artist, Designer, Lecturer and illustrator for several years. She is the recepient of several awards.  Generally artists are focused on single media, but she works in mix media though her favorite media is Acrylic.

Drawing/Painting is her passion. She belives in perfection with thorough knowledge of subejct matter to make sure that there is quality in every piece. For the past several years she has explored several artistic areas. She has successfully designed and implemented many big projects for the organizations like BMM (Brihan Maharashtra Mandal), Hindu Sangam (Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh). Visitors to the Diwali Mela organised by Chamber of Commerce in Cupertino, saw the huge painting of famous Taj Mahal.

Prior to founding "Nirmitee Arts", Rekha was lecturer in University of Bombay teaching Drawing/Paintings in Fine Arts for Bachlor and Masters degree Students. She holds Masters in Fine Arts from University of Bombay and Animation and Illustration courses from San Jose State University,California. She has been awarded Gold Medal in Bachlor of Arts. She is also doing her Doctorate in Indian Comics. When she is not working, She spends her time with two kids and husband.
